Common questions

Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?

No. Physiotherapy is a primary-contact profession, so you can book directly without seeing a GP first. A referral or care plan may still matter for certain funding, such as a Medicare Chronic Disease Management plan, workers’ compensation, DVA or NDIS.

Can I claim on private health or Medicare?

Most private health extras include physiotherapy — check your level of cover and any limits. Medicare only contributes in specific cases, most commonly through a GP-arranged Chronic Disease Management plan.

How long is an appointment?

Initial appointments usually run longer than follow-ups so we can assess thoroughly and build your plan. We’ll confirm timing when you book.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Comfortable clothing you can move in, any relevant scans or referrals, and your private health or funding details. Arriving a few minutes early helps with any forms.
